Our Values

At South Coogee Primary School, we are proud to foster a strong, connected community where everyone feels valued, respected, and safe. We celebrate diversity and nurture understanding, ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging and pride in being part of our school.

Our approach is guided by the AIR Attributes – Achieve, Inspire, Respect – which are embedded in everything we do. Students explore these values through explicit lessons, social games, and everyday interactions with peers, staff, and community members.

Positive behaviours are recognised through AIR Tokens, which students earn for demonstrating our core attributes. Each token contributes to their faction’s points and brings the school community together in friendly competition. At the end of each term, factions celebrate their collective achievements with a special reward — a reflection of teamwork, effort, and school spirit.

This positive approach not only reinforces expected behaviours but also strengthens the sense of unity and pride that defines the South Coogee community.
