Sport Achievement Awards at South Coogee Primary School Sport Achievement Award: The Sport Achievement Award are awarded to deserving students who have achieved excellent outcomes in Terms 1-4. This takes into account all of our Intra and Inter-school carnival results, including the Winter Inter-school fixtures against many other schools in Term 2. It also includes the physical skills, attitude to physical activity and sportsmanship as demonstrated by students in all Physical Education and Sport lessons throughout the year. A committee of Year 3-6 teachers decide the award for the girl and boy from each year level. These are presented for Years 3-5 at the Celebration Assembly and for Year 6 at the Graduation Assembly.

Championship Boy and Girl: Championship Awards are presented after the School Faction Carnival and School Cross Country Carnival. Senior Champion Boy and Girl – Year 5/6 Intermediate Champion Boy and Girl – Year 3/4 These are based solely on the results of the races, jumps and throws connected to the Carnival and are separate to all other external competitions. Points are collated by the computer program used for recording.
