Enrolments

South Coogee Primary School welcomes students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We are a local intake school with a specific residential catchment area.

In Western Australia, children can start their education in Kindergarten, however compulsory schooling starts the following year in Pre Primary.

Families who wish to enrol at South Coogee Primary School are required to provide the below documentation:

Student and parent born in Australia

• Original signed Lease Agreement – (if renting).
• Current Land rates notice – (if property is owned).
• Proof of residential address:  Eg Current Utilities bill – (electricity/water/gas) Centrelink letter with current address details
• Child’s Birth Certificate or Current Passport.
• Child’s Immunisation Statement (available from Medicare). The statement must be dated within 2 months of the date of the application of enrolment.

Student born in Australia, Parent born overseas

• Original signed Lease Agreement – (if renting).
• Current Land rates notice – (if property is owned).
• Proof of residential address:  Eg Current Utilities bill – (electricity/water/gas)
• Parent’s Passport and Visa 
• Citizenship Certificate/Australian Passport
• Child’s Birth Certificate or Current Passport.
• Child’s Visa details.
• Child’s Immunisation Statement (available from Medicare). The statement must be dated within 2 months of the date of the application of enrolment. 

Student born overseas

• Original signed Lease Agreement – (if renting).
• Current Land rates notice – (if property is owned).
• Proof of residential address:  Eg Current Utilities bill – (electricity/water/gas) Centrelink letter with current address details
• Parent’s Passport
• Parent’s Visa details
• Child’s Passport/Birth Certificate.
• Child’s Visa details.
• Child’s Immunisation Statement (available from Medicare). The statement must be dated within 2 months of the date of the application of enrolment.

Student and Parent living with a friend/family member

• Friend or family members original signed Lease Agreement/Land rates Notice if the property is owned.
• Friend or family member is required to provide a Statutory Declaration signed by Justice of Peace stating that the student and family are residing at the property stated on the Lease Agreement or the property stated on the current Land rates notice.
• Proof of residential address of Friend or family member. Eg Current Utilities bill – (electricity/water/gas), or letter from Centrelink (if applicable), showing the current residential address.
• Parent’s Driver’s Licence with current residential address/Centrelink Letter stating current address
• Child’s Birth Certificate or Current Passport/Parent Passport.
• Child and Parent’s Visa details (if applicable).
• Child’s Immunisation Statement (available from Medicare). The statement must be dated within 2 months of the date of the application of enrolment.

Parent on a Fee-paying Student Visa (for example 571, 572, 573 visas)
